Do You Handle Landlord Junk Removal Between Tenants?
Do You Handle Landlord Junk Removal Between Tenants?
Last updated: October 2026
Yes. Full-property cleanouts are part of our junk removal service. That includes furniture, appliances, or everything a previous tenant left behind.
Every landlord and property manager knows the moment. The lease ends, the keys come back, and the unit is still full. A couch nobody wanted. A mattress in the bedroom. A kitchen full of half-empty boxes. A basement storage cage packed with things the tenant swore they'd come back for. The next tenant moves in soon, and none of it can stay. Not a single box.
What we clear out
Furniture. Sofas and beds. Dressers and tables. Anything else left behind.
Appliances. Including ones that don't work. Fridges just need to be emptied and drained first.
Mattresses and box springs. Standard junk removal items.
Electronics. Old TVs and computers.
Boxes and odds and ends. Whatever's in the closets, the cabinets, and the storage areas.
The whole unit. If the tenant left everything, we take everything we can.
What we don't take is hazardous materials and construction or demolition debris. Read what won't junk removal take.
From inside the unit
We remove items from inside the property. You don't need to haul anything to the curb first. If some of it is already out by the alley, we can pick that up too.
Timing a turnover
Turnovers are tight, and every day a unit sits full of someone else's leftovers is a day it can't be cleaned or shown to the next person on the list. Time matters. Two weeks' notice is ideal, so you can book the cleanout right after the move-out date. But we also do same-day junk removal for the times the timeline gets squeezed. Read how fast can you schedule a junk pickup.
Working with property managers
Tell us the address, how the crew gets in, and what needs to go. If the building has its own rules about elevators, loading areas, or move hours, let us know when you book. If the building requires a certificate of insurance, we can provide it.
Where it all goes
Usable items go to local donation centers, and the rest goes to the junk yard. A tenant's good furniture can end up in someone else's home instead of in a dumpster. Read can usable items be donated instead of dumped.
How it's priced
Junk removal is priced per item, quoted up front so there are no surprises once the truck is loaded. Read how is junk removal priced.
Moving appliances between units?
If you're swapping appliances between units rather than throwing them out, read do you move appliances within the same building.
