Junk removal is $75 per item, quoted up front so there are no surprises once the truck is loaded.

That's it. No guessing how much of the truck your junk will fill, the way some haulers price by the quarter-load or the half-load and leave you wondering until the very end how much space your old couch and a few boxes really took up. No surprise charge after the crew has already carried everything out. You count the items, and you know the price before we arrive.

Why per item

Per-item pricing is simple to understand. A sofa is one item. A refrigerator is one item. A mattress is one item. You can add it up yourself before you call.

It also makes the quote easy to check. When the crew arrives, the list is the list. Simple.

What counts as an item

Furniture and appliances are standard items. So are mattresses, box springs, sofa beds, and electronics. Each one is priced the same way.

One sofa. One item.

A whole kitchen of appliances. Each appliance is priced the same way, whether it's one or a whole kitchen.

A bedroom set. Tell us each piece, and we'll quote it.

Quoted before, not after

The quote is given before the pickup. That's the point of per-item pricing. You know what you'll pay before anyone starts carrying.

Estate cleanouts

Estate cleanouts are priced the same way. Like all our junk removal, it's $75 per item, quoted up front. See our estate cleanout service.

Curb and alley pickups

If you've already moved the item outside, we can pick it up from the alley or the curb. Tell us the address, the item, and when it'll be out. The price is the same per item. See our furniture removal service.

Items that need more work

A piece that won't fit through the door gets taken apart to get it out. If a washer or gas appliance is still hooked up, a plumber needs to disconnect it before we arrive, since we don't do plumbing work. Fridges and freezers just need to be emptied and drained.

Piano removal

Pianos are handled differently from regular junk. Piano disposal depends on the piano and the access, so we give you an estimate before the pickup. Read what does piano disposal cost.

What we don't take

Hazardous materials, and construction or demolition debris. Read what won't junk removal take.

Where it goes

Usable items go to local donation centers, and the rest goes to the junk yard. Read can usable items be donated instead of dumped.

Planning your list

Walk through the house before you call. Check the basement, the garage, the attic, and the back of every closet. People usually find more than they expected, and it's easier to get everything on one pickup than to call back for a second trip.

Scheduling

Two weeks' notice is ideal, but we also do same-day junk removal.
