How Fast Can You Schedule a Junk Pickup?

Junk has a way of becoming urgent all at once. Suddenly. You've been meaning to get rid of the old couch for a year, and suddenly it has to go by Saturday. The buyer's walkthrough is tomorrow. The new furniture arrives in the morning. The tenant moved out and the next one moves in this weekend. When the deadline is real, waiting two weeks isn't an option.

Why two weeks is ideal

Two weeks gives you the best choice of dates and times. It also gives you time to go through the house, decide what's going, and set aside anything that could be donated. A planned pickup tends to be a bigger, better-organized pickup, and you're less likely to call back a week later because you found more.

When you need it today

Same-day junk removal is available. The earlier you call, the more options there usually are, because a request that comes in at eight in the morning has a lot more of the day to work with than one that comes in at four in the afternoon. If something needs to go now, call as early in the day as you can. Tell us what's going and where it is, and we'll tell you what we can do.

What to have ready when you call

The list. What's going, and roughly how many items.

The address. And where the items are inside, like the basement, an upper floor, or the garage.

Access. Stairs, elevators, and parking.

Anything unusual. A piano, a sleeper sofa, or a piece that might not fit through the door.

What's donatable. Anything still in good shape that could go to a local donation center.
