We plan each of these differently, because they are different jobs: uprights travel padded and strapped on a piano board, grands come apart first (legs, pedals, lid) and ride on their side on a skid, and a true no-way-up staircase becomes a job for our crane crew. What never changes is the outcome: the piano arrives playable, and the house it left and the house it enters are both unmarked.
