Yes. Village-center condos and senior downsizes are regular, friendly-sized work for us.

Wilmette is known for big family homes, but not every move here is a big one. Plenty of people live in condos and apartments near the village center. Plenty of others are downsizing from a large house into something smaller. And some moves are just a few pieces going a few blocks. Those are real moves too, and they get a real crew. No job is too small.

Village-center condos

Condo moves near downtown Wilmette are usually quicker than house moves, partly because there's less to carry and partly because a building with an elevator and a loading area takes a lot of the stairs and long carries out of the day. Fewer rooms, less furniture, and often an elevator. But condo buildings can have their own rules. Some want a certificate of insurance. Some have elevator reservations or move hours. Senior downsizes

Many Wilmette moves are parents leaving a family home for a condo or a retirement community. The new place is smaller, so not everything comes along. We can help with that. Gently.
