Most of the year

For most of the year, a week or two of notice is enough to get a good date. Weekdays usually have the most openings. If your date is flexible, you'll have plenty of options.

Summer weekends

Summer is the busiest time of year for moving, and Park Ridge is no exception, since families with kids in school try to fit the whole move into the weeks between the last day of one school year and the first day of the next. School is out, the weather is good, and a lot of leases turn over. Weekends in summer fill first. If you need a summer Saturday, book earlier than a week or two out.

Month-end

The last days of the month and the first days of the next are busy all year, because that's when leases end and begin. If your move falls at month-end, book earlier.

Our pricing doesn't change

Busy dates fill faster, but our pricing stays the same all year. A summer weekend costs the same per hour as a winter weekday. The only difference is how quickly the calendar fills.

Short notice
