Do You Work With Home Stagers and Other Service Providers?
Last updated: October 2026
Yes. We work with all kinds of household service providers.
Home stagers and realtors. Renovators and plumbers. Landscapers and house cleaners. A move rarely happens on its own. There's usually someone getting the house ready to sell, someone fixing something before the new owners arrive, or someone cleaning up after the last box leaves. We work alongside all of them.
Why coordination matters
When several people work on the same house in the same week, timing is everything. Really everything. The stager can't set up until the old furniture is out. The cleaners can't start until the movers are done. The renovator needs the room empty before the floors go in.
When everyone knows the schedule, the house gets from one stage to the next without anyone waiting in the driveway, and when nobody does, you end up paying a moving crew and a cleaning crew and a stager to stand around the same front porch at the same hour.
Working with home stagers
Staging is about getting the right furniture into a home, in the right place, before the listing photos. That can mean moving the seller's furniture out, bringing staging pieces in, or both. It can also mean moving staging pieces out again once the home sells.
The person directing the setup tells our crew where things go. On event and staging moves, the planner or stager directs the crew, and our foreman leads the crew alongside them.
Working with realtors
Realtors are often the ones juggling closing dates, showings, and the seller's move-out. We work with realtors regularly. If your realtor is coordinating the timing, it's fine to have them call us directly.
Working with renovators and contractors
If a renovation is happening before or after a move, the order matters. Furniture may need to go into storage while work is done, then come back afterward. We pick up, keep things in our storage, and deliver when the space is ready. Our storage service covers how it works.
One note. We don't do plumbing, so if appliances need water or gas lines disconnected or reconnected, that's a job for your plumber. We'll move the appliance once it's ready.
Working with cleaners and landscapers
Cleaners usually come in right after the move. Landscapers might be prepping the yard for showings at the same time. Tell us who else is on site that day, and we'll plan around them.
How to set it up
Share the schedule. Tell us every service provider involved and when they're working.
Name a point person. One person who can make decisions on the day. That might be you, your realtor, or your stager.
Give enough notice. For event and staging moves, about two weeks is best. Read how much notice we need for an event move.

Coordinated moves are part of our events and special moving service, one of our moving services.
