Do You Pick Up and Deliver Pianos for Storage?

Yes. We pick it up, keep it in our storage, and deliver it to your place when you're ready.

That's the whole service. You don't rent a truck, find helpers, or drag a piano into a storage unit. You don't come to pick it up either. We handle the pickup, the storage, and the delivery, so one company is responsible for the piano from the day it leaves your home to the day it arrives at the next one.

The pickup

The pickup works exactly like a piano move. No shortcuts. Uprights are padded and strapped on a piano board. Grands are partly taken apart first. The legs and pedals come off with the music stand and lid, and the piano rides on its side on a skid board. Read can you move a grand piano.

Stairs, tight turns, and walk-ups are handled the same way they are on any piano move. If a piano can't take the stairs, our hoisting crew can bring it out through a window or over a balcony. Read what if my piano won't fit up the staircase.

The storage

At our storage, the piano is placed where nothing leans on it and nothing gets set on top of it. Both temperature and humidity are managed, all year. Read can you store my piano between homes.

The delivery

When you're ready, tell us your delivery date and we'll schedule it. The piano comes out of storage, goes on the truck, and is brought into your home and placed where you want it. For a grand, every removed part goes back on.

Delivery doesn't have to go back to the same address, and it rarely does. Most people store a piano between homes, so it goes to the new one.

How it's billed

Coverage

Every move includes our standard coverage, which is based on weight. For a valuable instrument, you can buy full coverage insurance separately.
