Do You Provide Moving Supplies? What's Included and What's for Sale

Yes, and there are two sides to it. We bring everything needed to protect your furniture and your home on moving day at no extra charge. And if you are packing yourself, we sell the supplies you need so you do not have to go hunting for them. Here is exactly what comes included and what is for sale.

What we bring to protect your move (no charge)

Protecting your things in transit is our job, not an add-on, so the gear that does it comes standard with every move:

• Quilted moving blankets wrap every piece of furniture, so nothing gets scratched, dinged, or dusty on the way.
• Floor runners, door-jamb protectors, and carpet shielding go down to keep your old place and your new one in the same shape we found them.
• Wardrobe boxes let your clothes ride straight from the closet to the truck on their hangers. No folding, no wrinkling.
• TV boxes give your flat-screens a snug, padded ride so they are shielded from pressure and bumps.

One thing to be clear about with the wardrobe and TV boxes: those are free to use on moving day. The crew loads them, unloads them, and takes them back at the end. If you would like to keep any for yourself, you are welcome to buy them outright.

Supplies you can buy if you are packing yourself

If you would rather pack on your own time, skip the trip to the hardware store. We sell move-grade supplies that hold up far better than recycled grocery boxes:

• Moving boxes in a range of sizes. Small ones for the heavy stuff like books and dishes, big ones for light and bulky things like bedding and pillows.
• Heavy-duty packing tape that actually keeps a full box closed.
• Shrink wrap for bundling, securing drawers, and protecting upholstered pieces.
• Packing paper for cushioning glassware, dishes, and anything fragile.

We are upfront about what these cost. No mystery line items, no surprise tape fee buried in the final bill.

Want to skip packing entirely?

For a lot of people, the boxes are not the stressful part. The weeks of packing before the date are. If that sounds familiar, our full packing service takes the whole job off your plate. Our packers come in before the move, or the morning of for smaller jobs, and carefully wrap, box, and label every room. Your only task is to point at the closets and let us handle the rest. It is a favorite for big homes, fragile collections, and anyone who simply does not have a free weekend to spend taping boxes.

No hidden supply fees, ever

Plenty of movers quietly tack on charges for tape and blankets at the end. We do not. The protection that keeps your move safe is included, and anything you choose to buy is priced openly before you commit to it. Whether you are moving a studio in Logan Square or a big house out in the suburbs, you will always know exactly what you are paying for.
